Through a United Arab Emirates (UAE) based entity, P&O Maritime FZE, P&O Maritime Services is the provider of all port services vessels in DP World’s largest port, Jebel Ali, and also at Port Rashid. Support services are also provided to coastal maritime operations in the UAE.
Building on the extensive port operations experience of its Australian based joint venture company, Defence Maritime Services, P&O Maritime Services employs 320 highly skilled personnel in the UAE who crew and maintain tugs, pilot launches and lines boats as well as providing mooring services. Other services include port navigation aid maintenance, diving services, port waterways cleaning and first response pollution control.
The services are supported by a comprehensive maintenance facility on site. Vessel replacement programs including build supervision and fleet management are also integral to the Company’s portfolio of maritime capability.
This complete operational support facility not only meets the port's principal requirements, but also provides an underlying capability that has application across a breadth of other maritime support tasks.
