P&O Maritime Services new state-of-the-art Renewables Support Vessels (RSVs), designed by Incat Crowther, are custom built for the European Offshore Renewables sector. In addition to providing crew and equipment transfers, these multipurpose catamarans offer a range of support functions during all phases of Offshore Wind Farm developments. Equipped with a moon pool, crane, A-frame and an observation deck (bird watching), these RSV’s can deliver:
· Survey services
· ROV support
· Towed vehicles and sonar surveys
· High pressure washing of turbines
· Fuel transfer operations
The RSV fleet are built to MCA Cat1 SVC standards and are first-in-class to comply with full damage stability criteria, including Lloyds classification. Operated to the highest safety standards, these premium vessels provide :
· Transfer of personnel in significant wave heights of up to 2 meters
· Low fuel consumption and extended range (500 miles)
· 25 knots max speed
· 14 tonnes cargo carrying capacity
· Highest levels of passenger comfort
